GARY HARDY, originally from the UK, is the visionary founder of ITWinners, a prominent education and coaching firm headquartered in Cape Town, South Africa. With an international presence, the team under his leadership has been providing invaluable education and coaching services globally to executives since 2004.
He has over four decades of experience in the IT industry and is recognized as an authority and trailblazer in harnessing business value from technology. He played an instrumental role in the inception and development of the COBIT framework, which initiated IT Governance in 2008. In his quest to enhance technology utilization, he recognized the pivotal role of communication and the human element, often neglected by conventional frameworks.
Gary is passionate about bridging the gap between technology and accessibility. He envisions a world where technology optimally enriches lives, fostering an understanding even among non-technical executives.
A graduate of Computer Science, Gary was a valued board member of ISACA. He held the role of regional President, and was given the Common Body of Knowledge award. He also helped create the CGEIT certification. He was also the regional Ambassador for the BRM Institute and received the BRM Consultant of the Year award and the esteemed “Arnie”.
