Governance has always been a critical factor for steering any organisation successfully. But it is often badly understood. “Good Governance”, is the pursuit and fulfilment of purpose in an ethical, effective, and responsible manner in line with stakeholder expectations.
Our short-course is aligned with the latest thinking in ISO37000:2021 “Governance of Organisations”. A must have for leaders and managers responsible for governing their organisations, we explain the approach in non-technical language.
Based on “Doing it Right”, we start with strategy and value generation, then leadership, engagement and social responsibility. Delivery of value is based on accountability, oversight and dealing with risk. Then creation of the governance outcomes of performance, ethical behaviour and stewardship.
This course has been endorsed by The Good Governance Academy, a non-profit organisation that collaborates globally to share information on critical business issues as a public good.

Overview & Preview
Climate change, global uncertainty, and demands by so many to change the status quo mean there has never been a time when Good Governance has been so important. Whether in the corporate, governmental, or non-profit sectors, good governance is a fundamental pillar for achieving positive outcomes and maintaining public trust.
Our guide explains how executives can establish a foundation for ethical, responsible, and effective management ensuring that their organizations operate with integrity, prioritize the interests of various stakeholders, and work toward sustainable success. Aligned with the latest governance standard, ISO/IEC 37000:2021 it explains in a non-technical way how executives can demonstrate that their organization can be trusted to generate lasting value while being socially and ethically responsible.
Like all our guides the content is interactive, multi-media and stimulating, self-driven and on-demand. Presented for executives, and based on good governance and management practice in a simple Cookbook Style; “This is How”, “This is What You will Need” and “What Can Go Wrong” - all of which are centred on “Doing the Right Things”;
There is no one-size-fits-all, as every organization is different. Applying this guidance is an art as well as a science, – you will need to consider the culture, leadership style and working environment as well as the current capabilities and level of maturity.

Estelle M –
I have started with the above mentioned course and just wanted to thank you. I find it refreshing and practical. I love how at the start it begins with values, and mission and the duty of the GB to carry that and their accountability.
This really will take people back to the start and force them to redefine and re-align.
As I listen and read my mind is racing. I think of large organisations I was involved in, and the lack of the board in staying true to the original values – and being able to transfer that and sense of ownership to employees.
